The CMA contracts with licensed medical, mental health and dental professionals to conduct triennial healthcare surveys at each state correctional institution. Subsequently, corrective action plans to address the resulting survey findings are developed. The CMA monitors the implementation of corrective actions until all findings are adequately addressed.
