Kris-Tena Albers

APRN, MN, SANE-A-Nursing Representative

Kris-Tena Albers is licensed in Florida as an advanced practice registered nurse practitioner (APRN) and registered nurse. She holds a certification as an adult / adolescent sexual assault nurse examiner (SANE-A). Kris graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from FSU in 1980, and in 1995 received her master’s in nursing from the University of Florida.

Prior to retirement in May of 2023 her professional nursing career included ten years working as a registered nurse; fourteen years as a clinical advanced practice registered nurse / certified nurse midwife, twelve years as a public health administrator in a variety of health programs and policy development and implementation and the last six years of her nursing career she worked at a non-profit organization as the director of the statewide sexual assault nurse examiner program.
